Here at Rangeville we have been on an exciting faith journey. In 2000, God gave us a vision to build the New Rangeville Ministry Complex and since then we have come a long way. This vision came one step closer to reality with God’s miraculous provision of $2,600,000 which enabled us to purchase and pay cash for the 5 hectare (12.5 acre) block of land on the corner of Stenner and Mackenzie Streets.
On this land we believe we were called to construct a ministry complex with a specific purpose. It was clear that this building is to be a place where we will worship our God and the people of God will grow in their devotion for Him. This ministry complex is to be a place where God will heal the broken hearted as they hear the message of Christ for the first time and a place where people will make a personal commitment to make Jesus their Lord and King and be baptized into the Kingdom of God.
We believe this ministry complex is an opportunity for us to reach out to our community of neighbours who are building homes within the area and adjacent to our block. We look forward to the opportunities it will bring in forming a close relationship with the Gabbinbar State School. Rangeville Community Church is already involved in religious education at Gabbinbar and this building has the potential for holiday clubs and after school care. It will be a wonderful opportunity to reach out to both parents and students of the school. This ministry complex will be more than a church, it will be a centre for the community.
In 2010 construction commenced and we rejoice and give thanks to God for His provision of funds. It was wonderful watching the progress as this block of land changes from a bare patch of ground to a hub of machinery and equipment and the walls being erected. We have eagerly watched it progress and take shape.
On the 27th March 2011 we had our first service in our new ministry complex at 362 Mackenzie Street, with our office open from the 28th March. We eagerly look forward to the journey ahead and the broader avenues and opportunities for ministry in our new home. Our God is a faithful God and this ministry complex is a bold testimony of this.
We look forward to welcoming you into our new home.
